After about two weeks, my MBP is working fast, altough I suppose the intel processor is more RAM demanding, and I notice that a lot of memory (almost 2GB) is inactive! I still haven't had any page-outs/lack of memory and the beach-ball doesn't show up anymore.

I decided to improve my Macbook Pro 2.2ghz Core 2 Duo, so I purchased 4 gig of Ram from here and got myself a 500ghz HD with 16mb Cache. It previously XBenched at 99.19, since the upgrades its hit 129.89! The fans are coming on a lot less often too. I'd thoroughly recommend this upgrade if you want to see a serious performance increase in your machine :-)

I installed this on my 2 year old machine. I hadn't been having any problems with my setup, but I was curious to see what improvements could be realised by doubling my ram. After using the new ram for a few days i have had no problems whatsoever. I've had noticeably fewer instances of "beachballing" so far, and one niggle I was having with safari (hanging for a couple of seconds when i opened a new tab on an already tabbed session, then displaying a mishmash of images for a couple more seconds, instead of the "top sites" screen) seems to have disappeared. At least I haven't encountered it since, and i've been using the computer in the exact same way as before.
Installation was very simple (detailed instructions exist for my machine, a little googling can help) and took only a matter of minutes.

Overall i have nothing bad to say about the product, and hoefully this can help "futureproof" my computer for another couple of years

I have since found out from Apple that my Macbook Pro can only take 3GB, yet the Crucial scanner diagnosed the 4GB as the correct upgrade. Be careful when you choose the product!

Very good price for the upgrade (certainly compared to Apple branded Ram module)
Easy installation, strong consistant performance increase in day to day use of my Mac.
But ... be carefull though, I was using Tiger (10.4.11) and tried to upgrade to Leopard (10.5.4) on my Macbook Pro. With these Ram module, the installation failed consistently(Error message : Cannot validate essentials package OR cannot validate 'Base System' package) Re installed my old Apple memory module and Leopard installation worked.
To be fair there is a few reports of failed installation with Apple Ram as well but there is just much more of these reports when using compatible Ram upgrade (what ever the brand).
To date the issue is not resolved.

I was happy it worked great when I finally got it.
The computer seems a bit faster but have not yet made the final tests.

I would very much have liked to pay with my debitcard, through internet. Then I could have gotten the supply 2 weeks before.

There needs some help how to fill in the debitcard numbers correct on the homepage.

In the end after trying and retrying over two weeks. I finnally called the bank, which told me to call the company. When the card seemed ok.

And I had to give my debitcardinfo over the phone which made me uncomfortable.
But the guy was nice and did a very good job.

The thing on the homepage, some kind of security with the online debitcardinfo would also been nice. It all seemed a bit .. go ahead, hope for the best. A little uncomfortable, since I was not sure about where my cardinfo went. And how much you will purchase from me.

The payment have to be secure, comfortable and secure.
