My 24 inch iMac was not a happy machine. I'd run diagnostics and all was well so, having looked into possible memory issues, I decided to install more.
It was the right decision. As soon as I had installed the 2GB upgrade (which was really easy), my iMac took on a new lease of life. It's been running like a dream ever since.

Easy to fit, but was surprised that the RAM error correction no longer worked. I barely know what this is, but it was there under the Apple 1G RAM, and then not there when upgraded to 3G. The chip is marked, and sold as, no error correction, but I am not sure why Crucial recommended that for my Mac.

I had hoped that increased RAM would help with slow sorting of a 300,000 item database, but there was no effect. Probably a software problem...

I ordered this product initially for my apple imac, but i have also got an apple macbook which takes the same module so this was my second purchase from crucial as i up graded both systems to their maxium. Both systems now run much smoother and much faster even with programs such as photoshop and dreamweaver CS3. Can have loads of programs open at once with very little impact on overall performance.

Very easy installation and works exactly as described, no problems so far and the speed increase was as expected.

At current time I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the product and have been using it for some time now, I would definitely recommend this.

Great website, with a very good system scanner tool, easy to use. Does what it says on the tin!!! 2-3 days the memory popped through the post. 5 minutes later Im back up and running with 4GB of memory! This is the 2nd time Ive used the website, I have recommended the site already to 2 friends and will continue to do so.... why not pass on a great service?
