I was recommended this product by my brother. The process was so easy. I visited the 'Crucial' website and clicked a button asking you to check my laptop. Within minutes you informed me of what was needed for an upgrade. There were several options and the prices seemed very reasonable. I bought the product straight away and it took a few days to arrive by post. I had never unscrewed the underside of my laptop before and it felt a bit daunting, pulling out a part and replacing it, but with full instructions it really was easy – just like changing a fuse. If I can do it – anyone can.

Excellent service from Crucial. They charged me VAT by mistake (I live in Jersey) but they promptly re-creditted my paypal account. Memory has transformed my Acer 3690 (512mb) laptop running vista. Start up time down to about 1 minute as opposed to more than 3 mins before!

I would never have even considered taking the back off a laptop if it wasn't for the straight forward instructions on the website before you even buy the product. The website told me exactly what parts I needed to order and how to fit them. Having received the parts it took just ten minutes from thinking about it to switching it on all done. Everything all fired up absolutely fine. Laptop much faster now.

Using the 'Crucial Memory Advisor™ tool' I found the memory I needed [...] with help from the enclosed instructions.....some people think of everything!! My friend was over the moon he said 'Its like having a new laptop'......at just the price of 2 x Modules of memory!!
