Modules are installed and working fine, have made a big difference to the performance on the Mac Mini, which previously had a pair of 512MB modules. Installation itself was difficult, as Apple don't appear to want end-users opening the Mini up, but once the RAM sockets were exposed removing the old modules and installing the new ones was simple.

This was the third upgrade I've performed using Crucial memory. As with the previous two upgrades on other computers, the performance increase with the new memory is very noticeable.
I was a bit concerned about upgrading a Mac Mini at first because of the supposed difficulty of opening the case. After watching several instructional videos on Youtube showing how to upgrade the Mini's memory, I decided to give it a go. In the end it turned out to be very simple.
Only one word of warning: bear in mind that the memory modules need quite a bit of force to seat in the their holders. If the memory isn't recognised by the system first time around, it could be that the module isn't fully pushed into its connector.

Great product and a big improvement over the stock 1GB of RAM. It's just a shame that it is not so easy to install on a mac mini.

When I asked about upgrading my Mac Mini in the Apple Store, they said "Don't bother, just go to crucial.com, they'll be much cheaper." So that's what I did.Three days later, thanks to some tutorials on YouTube, my Mini's a much better machine to use.I also put in a 500GB HDD while I was at it. This was a bit more complicated that the RAM but well worth doing.

Although the Mac Mini is a complex beast to get into, the memory snapped into place easily and worked as expected. No issues.
Perhaps it may have been useful to give some advice on the website about the complexity of the upgrade process due to the compact nature of the Mini. A reference to some useful web links would have been good. I did find a number of upgrade videos people have made on the net but some users may not know how to find this information.
