I was confident from past experience that the right module would be supplied, and again I wasn't disappointed. The module was simple to install thanks to the instructions Crucial provided, and was recognised at once on boot-up. The extra memory has transformed my laptop's performance which had been sluggish at times. Image editing software, in particular, responds more quickly and I can now have multiple applications running with little noticeable drop in performance.
