I bought this RAM from Crucial after first having tried another RAM reseller for this same kit. Unfortunately, no matter what configuration I placed the RAM in it kept crashing my machine. I spoke to a our IT department at work who suggested Crucial RAM as it was more likely to work with Apple. Apparently Apple are picky with the RAM they allow to work in their machines. Having sent back the RAM and getting a full refund, I then ordered from Crucial and their RAM works!! All I would advise is that this RAM goes in the 2 inner bays eg. 2 & 3 (if 1 is the top one).
Just gotta save for another 2GB kit, then I'll be maxx'ed out!

Can't stress how important 'ramming to the max' turned out to be... had numerous musical software programs laughing at my machine, 'too slow to process' being the main problem, with half finished tunes and a very frustrated musical vent I sort the 'Crucial' solution and have never looked back... thank you for a fast diagnosis, and the recommended ram, in pairs, solved it all... top team !!!
