I installed memory in iMac. The Crucial guide and FAQs were helpful. To be certain I got the correct memory, before ordering I carefully removed the memory DIMMs temporarily from my IMac and photographed them with a digital camera. I studied the photos and compared the pinout and the location of the slot to be sure I selected the correct memory. There are different iMac models so this helped to be sure I got the correct type of DIMM. The iMac processor description in "About this Mac" must be followed precisely in the wizard. [...] runs fine.
