THE HP LAP TOP BEFORE WAS SO SLOW I ONCE THROW IT DOWN ON THE FLOOR IN FRUSTRATION BUT NOW HAVING FITTED THE NEW MEMORY WHICH IS SOMETHING I HAVE NEVER DONE BEFORE THE SPEED HAS IMPROVED SO MUCH I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S THE SAME COMPUTER IT IS STILL RUNNING VISTA SO MAYBE LATER I WILL CHANGE THAT TOO

Not a huge leap in performance but noticable on a 3 year old HP vista laptop, upgraded memory from 1GB to 2 GB.
