My XP SP3 PC was starting to feel the pinch with just 512 MB of RAM. After installing the extra GB, task switching is now instantaneous and the system isn't constantly paging out to hard disk in the background.

The website showed me how much memory I could install on my PC, what was compatible with my mother board, the price etc. The service was first class, easy to use and I was not disappointed when I installed my product and experienced the differnce in performance. I would recommend this to anyone who is having difficuly in choosing memory etc.

My system was running out of "headroom" to run a lot of graphics applications and a few media and disk-writing jobs. The RAM memory was too small at somewhere around 700mb so I was advised to up the RAM to 1gb or larger.

This memory module was just what I needed and the Crucial website pointed me accurately to the correct upgrade and I had a choice of size and price.
I opted for an increase that would give me at least 1.5Gb of RAM and this one fitted the bill nicely.

Instructions were very good and I installed it in minutes - just needed to push back 2 little white clips and carefully plug the module into the slot provided. A firm push and it clicked properly into place.

One of the good things about it was the way it self-configured the moment I booted up. I didn't have to answer any difficult questions it just went as if nothing had happened and a quick check showed it was now sporting 1.5Gb of RAM.

Cons: Well there aren't any really. I'm only sorry I didn't know about it a long time ago as I could have saved a lot of time with my PC going sluggish for the last 18 months.

I didn't know that Crucial themselves were so helpful and knowledgable in advising on the right product to fit my rather cheap and dated machine.

A quick defrag after it was all running and my system is now like I have a new Computer. So I thoroughly recommend anyone using a product like this.
