My Dell Laptop is 4 years old and has been running slowly for a while. I doubled my RAM from 1GB to 2GB and it has drastically increased the performance - I can now have several browser tabs open at once at the same time as applications such as photoshop without the laptop 'hanging'. The extra memory was very easy to install (especially after viewing the short video on the crucial website) - took no longer than 5 mins.

Used in Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop. Very easy to fit. Just have to remove the original 2 x 0.5GB as the laptop only has the 2 memory slots and will only take a maximum of 2GB of memory. Greatly improved when opening and running applications after new memory fitted.

My laptop only had 1Gb of RAM, not enough for the resource-hungry Vista. The memory upgrade was easy to install (needs a small Philips screwdriver and takes about 2 minutes). Performance is noticeably better, starting up and closing down is quicker, and I can now run several applications without everything grinding to a halt. Very happy with product, would order again.

Increasing the RAM has made a noticeable difference to allowing multiple applications. FireFox uses a lot of RAM if it is not shut down periodically; I no longer have to do this. A really cost-effective upgrade and excellent dispatch.

Came - in the crucial box. Installed - fine. (You have to insert 1 stick at a time - then each time boot; otherwise you get a memory error from the Inspiron - but thats just a Dell prob)

I was surprised when RAM arrived the very next day of ordering.... [...]As i have previous experience in computer hardware, installation was a breeze... till now i do not have any problems regarding the RAM.... Overall a great product..

Our Dell was so slow to start-up, we would switich it on then make a cup of tea whilst we waited; its 1Gb of RAM was completely maxed out. For a small outlay we've doubled the RAM and transformed it, and just a two minute job to fit. Much, much better.
