Even as an IT professional it can sometimes be tricky to pin down exactly what type of memory you (or a customer) needs for their PC. The Crucial tool that does this for you and identifies exactly what you need is fast, efficient and reliable. I was able to purchase the exact modules my customer needed within a few minutes, they [...] were installed the same day. Thus far, they have worked flawlessly to run his PC faster than it was before. As a happy by product, it also seems a little more stable than previously, a benefit neither of us was expecting! I'll continue to use Crucial for my memory needs for as long as I remember to do so ;). It could not be easier, smoother or quicker, an excellent service.

I wanted to upgrade from 2GB to 4GB.Memory was easy to install with the instructions given. The computer recognised it immediately. The same upgrade from the original supplier of the computer would have cost more than twice as much.

I am not a computer wizard and have learnt most by watching my teenage sons, but I found this web site very easy to use , managed to order the right part and when it came [...] it was easy to fit, The fitting instructions were good. It has speeded up my computer alot. I was recommended to get this part by an engineer who came to fix the my comuter and it has done what he said it would, (speed it up).

I bought the higher spec PC2-6400 (800MHz) even though my current system uses the lower speed 667MHz in the existing slots. The memory works without problem and it will allow me to upscale my PC at some time in the future should I wish.

Nice product, takes a fair bit of effort to put in but works well when done.
Only issue is if you're on a 32 Bit OS then you only use 3.2gb of ram not the full installed 4gb if you install that much. If you need or want over that you need to upgrade to a 64 bit version.
