A long-time 'fan' of Crucial, my latest purchase was delivered Scotland to Plymouth within 24 hours. The installation in an iMac is simplicity itself and just maybe 4GB might be a little too much. For those who have 2 x 1GB already installed you could try 3GB for starters. Whatever, I am entirely happy and highly recommend Crucial.

When i put the ram in and powered up my computer made a weird horn noise! it happened twice before starting up normally.....im not sure what this was but it hasnt happened since. so all's good....i think
