Makes the machine feel faster. Make sure you watch the youtube vids on performing the upgrade as its not straightforward, took me about 15 mins. Worth doing though.

Perfect if you have purchased the 512mb ram, hhd, Linux verson of the Acer Aspire One A150 and want to install Windows XP.
It's really suited for someone who knows how to use a computer/laptop and take them apart. As installing the RAM will be very hard and difficult for someone who has no experience in this field. This is due to a design flaw were they have no rear access to the ram slot.

This memory works a treat in the Acer Aspire One Net Book. It is however a real burden to get it into the Net Book. Very poor design on Acer's part. Crucial as always are the best.

Does what it says on the tin but very tricky to install in the Acer Aspire ONE mini laptop - no instructions provided so I resorted to checking up on YouTube to figure out how to get the Acer Aspire ONE apart. Yes, you have to take the laptop to bits to get the RAM in but this isn't a fault of Crucial or the memory, it's a fault of Acer. Having said that, Crucial should put a warning on the product page and at least provide some basic instructions as fitting this module into the Aspire ONE is not trivial.
