Plug and play. Have to open the inside of your 'puter from time to time to give it a hoover - may as well install some memory if it has capacity. Videos on how to install availabe were slightly helpful; wouldn't go mental over the static protection just make sure you ground yourself and the case every now and then.

The extra 2gb of memory is something that I had meant to buy for years and finally I got round to it ...when I simultaneously found out that my non Intel G4 PowerPC will NOT accept the Snow Leopard upgrade ...which was a bit of a blow

Oh well, all I wanted to do was make my Mac bang up-to-date ...all singing and dancing

...at least it's all singing ...thanks to Crucial memory

I needed more RAM for a G4 Powermac (512MB only
as standard) so extra 1gb was sensible upgrade.
Mac is used alongside PC but was slow on Internet
secure sites and Photoshop processing.Performance
is now better than PC and of course,secure!
Dead easy to fit (2 mins start to finish) and
booted immediately and no further problems.

Buying upgrade on-line is easy but not all manufacture claims are correct. I tried two previous suppliers only to find that their products were not fully compatibable with my mac however after studing crucial site I find the information was very clear and competive prices so I decided to place an order [...], I installed the memory immediately and bingo.... I will definately be back.

It doesn't really get easier. I used the Crucial computer scanner program to see what memory upgrade I should order, it gave me 4 options, in price order. I went for the reasonably priced top option [...]. Plug and play, all works fine.
