Installed in Apple MacBook so installation was very easy.
Packaging was easy to open and can be used to store the removed memory.
Have bought memory from Crucial before and will do again, the memory selector tool makes choosing the right memory a breeze.
Have noticed performance increases when having multiple applications open and when editing photo's and videos.

My MacBook had been struggling for a while. What had been a reasonably quick machine a couple of years ago was now painfully slow. The Activity Monitor showed that it was using swap memory and doing an lot of disk access. Upgrading from the original 1Gb to 4Gb has transformed it. No swapping now. Much less waiting, smoother in use, and the disk will probably last better now it's not being thrashed the whole time.
Highly recommended if you have 1Gb and Snow Leopard version of OS X.

I just thought I would add that for any users with MacBooks that can't handle a full 4GByte of memory it is well worth going to 3 (2+1). My computer barely ever uses any swap file which makes it much much smoother, even on a day to day use (pesky browsers use a lot of RAM).

My 1Gb macbook was good enough until I installed VirtualBox. It runs like a dream in 4Gb. (My friends say 2Gb is enough but the difference in price is such that I thought I might as well go the whole hog.) The upgrade has put off buying a new mac for a year or two and a new PC ever.

I can only say that upgrading from 1 to 4G of RAM has improved performance enormously. I was unable to run VMWare fusion with just 1 gig. It runs perfectly with 4. So far the memory has been perfectly reliable.[...]. I particularly liked the downloaded software that identified the kind of memory required.

You need a small screw driver with the Apple Mac book.
After installation the webcam light stayed on, but I resolved this by removing the battery holding the off button for 5 seconds and then putting it all back together again.
