The product was purchased to double the RAM available in my PC.
Fitting it was easy and the machine and system (Win 7) detected and deployed it without problem.
Gauging the effectiveness of additional RAM is always tricky, but my machine is now running more smoothly and able to multitask more effeciently, and more importantly I can tell it is.
I was disappointed the Windows Experience Index hadn't improved one jot, but it always reflects the lowest subscore (in my case disk data transfer rate). The RAM score - memory operations per second had improved and was the highest WEI subscore at 7.5.

I recently purchased and installed 4GB of the recommended memory into the dual channel sockets on my DP55WG intel motherboard with i5-760 processor. Memory worked first time and has proved to be quite capable in running multiple applications using Office 2010. Also good for running my photo program. Very pleased overall with no problems.

The product is well built, does not bend like some of the cheap alternatives do when pushing the RAM into the motherboard slots.

Looks rather ordinary compared to Ballistix or other manufacturers upmarket lines, but it runs at specified rating (haven't really tried to overclock) and was reasonable value at the time (why do memory prices change so much ??)

Bought for a new build after my last PC (which stupidly DIDN'T have Crucial memory in...my bad) died, in part due to bad memory (oh the irony). The speed increase as a result of using these chips vs my last build, both of which had Windows 7 Ultimate in, is actually huge. No lag opening windows even on a hard drive 90% full...games play without a hitch including Crysis, which now running at a very steady 48fps at 1920 x 1080. Same components (except for the memory and mobo)running beautifully.

I bought this memory to match 2x2GB modules already fitted. The only difference was the place of manufacture, China, instead of Malaysia. System analysis software will tell you that the manufacturer is Micron.
I upgraded to Windows 7 at the same time and that is definitely faster than Vista, but everything seems to be working smoothly and reliably.

I received micron branded chips which i was able to tighten timings on to obtain CL7. This shouldn't be taken as a definite that all of these sticks will, but I was lucky and got a bonus :)
I use my desktop for CAD, artistic design, web-browsing, music listening, tv or recording among other things(often multiples of these at once). I use arch linux 64bit and win7. I can't see any negatives to the product, it obviously doesn't need heat spreaders.

I got this RAM because i could not find modules that would work properly at it's rated speed (1600), with my DDR3 P45 motherboard.
But after buying these they were brilliant, ran at it's rated speed and even at 1600MHz CAS 8 with a slight voltage increase (1.6v)! I bought a pair of heatspreaders, and in the end managed up at 1900MHz CAS 8 with 1.90v !
Worked perfect with my board, and soared in overclocking with abit of cooling - At such a low price!
Highly recommended.

Combine with a Core i7 to see dramatic performance boosts. My PC now scores 25% more in PCMark Vantage and that was versus DDR3 1600MHz in the old PC. The improvement is very palpable.
The price/value ratio here is outstanding. I have to admit I thought that Crucial had mis-priced this kit, so I snapped it up. I've now added my own copper heatspreaders and I'm looking forward to attempting a little overclocking with these reliable, high quality performers.
