Replaced 2x512MB Dimms in an Acer Aspire laptop to 2x2GB Dimms. Windows was excruciatingly slow with limited RAM, but now flies and I'm no longer waiting for long boot times, applications to load, and even swapping between applications. Excellent purchase.
