Added these to a Fujitsu laptop to increase performance.
At first memory didnt work, but that was my fault as I hadnt inserted it fully.
I called the service helpline and they are excellent.
With Crucial memory, you get excellent support as well as a good product.

It works!
If you are intending to upgrade your Amilo Li 1718 to 2GB RAM (its max), you will need to purchase two of these sticks as a single stick is not compatible with the 1GB factory installed RAM module (which is hard to source after market). After the upgrade, also remember to go into the BIOS and extend your video memory from 128MB to 256MB (which it borrows from the main RAM).

I used the item to upgrade to maximum (2G) RAM as I found the operating system 'very hungry'. The speed has not increased, but I can now have more windows open.I found the advice given and the whole buying process very good[...] I would use Crucial again and recommend them to others.
