installed in neighbours pc, which was running vista business on 1gb ram, so doubling the ram was a no brainer! apps now load in a few seconds, and about 2-3 mins cut from loading time when switched on,a very worthwhile exercise and neighbour is delighted!

Purchased the 1GB RAM memory to install in a newly purchased desktop PC with 1 GB installed RAM memory. Total cost was significantlly cheaper than buying a PC with installed 2GB RAM.

Many entry level desktop PCs seem to be routinely supplied with only 1GB of RAM in one slot to run the MS Vista OS. Upgrading with a second 1GB module is a no-brainer and more than doubles system speed of operation making the Vista OS useable. This is a 10 minute upgrade.
