I installed this kit to solve a spinning beach ball type slow down. Activity monitor showed that, even with no apps open, nearly two thirds of my RAM was being taken up with background processes (active or otherwise).

This upgrade kit was easy to identify using Crucial's web site and, once ordered, arrived practically within 48 hours. Terrific.

Both units slotted in straight away and have never faltered. The iMac being so well designed made installing so simple.

Result, spinning beach ball problem gone away.

Very easy to install in iMac and upgraded the memory in less than 5 minutes. Applications run faster as less disk swapping. Good for graphics and video apps in particular. Very pleased with quality product at very reasonable price.
