After trying to purchase this product from another company and being supplied the incorrect ram it was a relief to finally get what I was after.

The ram came with installation instructions which were straight forward to follow.

Does what it says on the tin; I used this to boost the 1GB speed of my Macbook to 2GB and have seen a significant difference since. Allows Snow Leopard to run without lagging. Great asset to my otherwise flawless 3yr old Macbook. No need for a new one - just some extra memory!

My macbook came with a paltry 1GB of RAM, so after deciding to upgrade I chose Crucial to upgrade my memory capacity to 2GB

My initial concerns about upgrading laptop memory, after never having done it before (I've built desktop machines in the past but this is my first ever laptop)

Thankfully the installation process was simple and took less than 10 or so minutes. After upgrading, the performance of my macbook improved considerably and was a lot more responsive when opening multiple applications that are memory heavy.

My only gripe is that you need a type 00 screwdriver to undo the casing on the back of the Mac but this isn't really the fault of Crucial.

If my mac supported 4GB of RAM I'd definitely have bought more from Crucial!

Was having issues when changing between applications such as Matlab and Safari using default memory (1GB). Increased system memory to the maximum 2GB for less than £25 and all issues have disappeared.

The Mac is excellent memory management, and regular use of the shrink wrapped software seldom took me above 512MB usage. However, the moment I tried to run windows *POW*, the machine ground to a halt.
2Gig however fixed this. Easy to fit, and no hassle.
