Problems innitially with booting was sorted out by support staff - arrangment of new/old ram organised. unfortunately this too had problems with screen locking after 5 - 10mins so old ram out and system now runs well. Support staff suggested updating drivers which I did and also mention working with the BIOS that scared me! Asked if I could buy further ram at reduced rate to replace old ram as it wasn't my fault - this was not entertained. Bit disappointing after other positive aspects to the transaction :(

I was getting very frustated with my 18 month old desktop, it was so slow,so I was very pleased when I installed my extra memory and it has worked a treat, everthing is just so much faster.
E-mail opens straight away as does internet, which is the most important to me, but all applications work faster and better.

I had a good experience with Crucial, from the very good website which is very helful, and makes buying the products so easy, to installing the product, with clear insructions provided, especially for someone like me who has no idea how the inside of a computer works.

I ordered this memory to update my 2year old pc. I only had 512mb ram so you can imagine that it wasn't the fasted pc out. I just replaced the memory that was in my pc with this new memory, instead of adding to the what was there already, because it is faster memory and I can say that there is a vast improvement! Even just surfing the net is much more enjoyable now, as pages load so much faster. I have noticed a big difference with some games I play on my pc too, they are running a lot smoother. The price was great too, so over all I am very pleased with my purchase.

i use the product for personal use ie pictures music etc and this memeory gave me more space and more documents to store but i didnt see any increase in the speed of the computer at all.
