I have upgraded the memory at the same time as installing a 32GB SuperTalent SATA Mini 2 PCIe SSD and the performance of Windows 7 is fantastic. Less then a minute to full boot up and blazing performance.

Very good packaging even includes instructions for those who are not familiar with memory installation. Very easy to install in Asus EeePC 901. Installed alongside a new SSD (not Crucial branded) and performance now much better - no more delay just after loading XP. Can't say how much is due to memory and how much is due to new SSD, but suspect memory is doing its bit. Very good upgrade and very easy to install at a good price.

Used this company because it said the memory would fit my eeepc 901 but the connectors are in the wrong place so now I have a useless bit of memory.

Thanks to the apps I use, I have to run WinXP on this machine (Linux not an option here), doubling the memory has boosted performance noticeably. It's the easiest upgrade for any machine and at the current prices, well worth the money.

Installed this into an Asus EEE 901. Worked straight away. Unfortunately causes the computer to crash when FSB speed is set too low, still trying to figure out the minimum FSB speed that it can handle. Works fine on "normal" and "super" speeds. Apart from this no problems.

I swapped the 1gb of Ram supplied in the Asus 901 (XP vesion) with the new Ram purchased from Crucial. Very very easy to do...... A quick search via google and instructions can be found. Several comments also suggest this will not invalidate the warranty.

No cons to date.

Easy to install and even managed to use old memory in my other laptop - bonus!!

I can't say I've noticed an increase in performance, but at least I'm nowhere near swap file now, not that I had a swap file as the C: drive gets full very quickly.

With the 1603 Bios already installed the memory was not recognised as 2Gb, it kept appearing as 1 Gb. I downgraded the Bios to an earlier version and then brought it back to 1603 and that cured the problem. Memory seems to work fine now.

I ordered this at the same time as my eee and it arrived first, so I installed it very early in my eee's life. As such I didn't notice a huge speed increase as I had little experience with the 1gb stick in. Having said that, it's much faster than my mate's eee with 1gb in so I'd have to say buy buy buy! Very easy to install too...

ASUS eeePC's are very fussy on their memory upgrades, (memory arrangement, voltage and timings) but with the Crucial module there was absolutely no problem.

The memory selector wizard, pin pointed the correct module, so confidence is assured.

Fitting the module in the eeePC is simply a matter of replacing the old/factory module and re-starting.

The Linux variants may need a kernal upgrade, which is easy to do, but newer 900, 901 and 1000 are ready to run.

All in all a great upgrade to make.
