I had a motherboard with processor & a minimal amount of memory given to me by a client when they replaced their PC. Thanks to Crucial's compatibility tool, I quickly found the correct memory & upgraded from 512MB to 2GB which enabled the board's dual channel feature. The upgraded board has now formed the basis of a new dual-boot (WinXP/Debian Squeeze) system that has agile performance for many tasks, from e-mails & surfing to multimedia applications.

Was installing extra 2Gb to give me a total of 4Gb but hadn't realised that on a 32bit OS, only 3.25Gb of RAM is available. My fault entirely, but even so, the extra 0.25Gb still gives an additional performance gain over 3Gb. The Crucial helpine was very good at explaining this and were quite willing for me to return 1Gb if I didn't want it.

Already had 2 x 1GB of Crucial memory in my computer. I've had zero issues with the 2GB I had before and zero with the extra 2GB I have in now. Windows XP (32-bit) can only use 3.5GB of that of course, but I upgraded for Windows 7 which will use the full 4GB.

Great couple of sticks; initially worried when trying to install they wouldn't fit, very, very tight fit but after so working at it managed to get them to slot in perfectly!

Added 2x 1gb to my pc already running 2gb. Haven't noticed a huge increase in speed but didn't expect one. Running 4gb but running 32 bit XP so only showing 3.5gb.
