The memory module was easy to install.

I noticed the difference straight away, my machine booted up in seconds instead of minutes!!

Despite the fact I have a clutted desktop and loads of programs on my machine.

All in all I would recommend!

Wife & her desktop were both grinding away at the slow speed of XP it really was 'put the kettle on'
while it booted up and performance was no faster.

Kept putting off the known cure, more memory. Having used Crucial before did the online scan and ordered plus a wrist strap. It took me longer to blow the accumulated dust out than upgrade the RAM. Now have much faster PC and quieter wife !!!!

2 X 1 Gb used to increase RAM to maximum. Computer was very slow before installation, with constant warnings about low memory. Now computer zips along with no problems.

I installed this for a neighbour that only had 256MB and only used the PC for the internet, at that stage the PC ran like a one legged dog. The addition of the memory (a recomendation confirmed by the Crucial website tool) has made the internet run like a train now, the neighbour's thrilled (especially as he'd previously called on the services of a professional whose recomendation was to replace the PC...).

So easy, Crucial's web site checked my system and told me what I needed and what the max memory I could use. Order arrived the following day on the standard deliverey option. It does not get better or easier than that. Highly recommended.
