Boosting RAM on my Dell D610 from 512MB to 1.5GB with this 1GB card (chose 1GB card with same spec as my existing 512MB card) significantly speeded up the performance of my laptop. Especially for opening programmes, and when running more than one concurrently. [...] Definitely recommend RAM boost as cheap way of improving your laptop's performance, esp. for older laptops with low RAM.

I have to confess that my husband installed this as he's the technical one, but it was easy to install and has improved the speed of our laptop as we'd hoped. Nothing negative to say about this - we got what we wanted and it works!

Upgraded from 512mb to 2gb and transformed a 3 yr old laptop into one which now operates very effectively for photo management & editing plus a small amount of video editing plus email & web etc. A clear increase in performance.
