I purchased upgrade to memory for a flagging PC.The on-line diagnostics identified what I needed - great! [...]The on-line help video was really good and coupled with the instruction book for the PC gave me the confidence to tackle the task. Job done and the PC is rejuvenated !

Piece of cake, let it search my machine, brought the memory, used the easy fit earthing strap which is a must buy do not fit with out using, followed the instruction did not really need the screw driver but hey its another hand tool anyway, plugged the memory in put the screw back switched on after a slow 1st start up machine is much qicker now and am happy ordered paid it [...]

A computer at the golf club was condemned but I added more memory and now it's brilliant - then tried the same with my wifes computer with the same excellent results.
The analysis programe to determine what I required was very good and worked very well.

I purchased a ram upgrade for my ageing desktop Mac[...]was simple to install, (in fact took about 3 minutes). The wrist strap taking away any fear of static discharge damaging the new memory. It was simple to attach to my computer and wrist and did the job it was designed to do. My Mac now feels much more responsive, runs simultaneous programs faster and has been capable of accepting the Snow Leopard OS. This OS required more ram than was previously installed. I would definately recommend this site to a friend. The download which examines the system requirements is foolproof and presents you with a number of options. If, like me you are not too savvy with hardware this program takes away any doubt. A faultless service, thank you.

The product was very easy to set up and contained very clear instructions. I am sceptical of its actual use as I have never had issues with electric charges while upgrading my systems before but for the cheap price I thought I'd may as well get one. Better safe than sorry right? So although if you're sensible you shouldn't really need this product it is very nice as a safety net and I'd prefer to buy one and upgrade my system safely without causing damage to its components than damage them, one of these straps is much cheaper than any product that could get damaged within your machine.

Excellent product was very easy to install, just followed the instructions on the Crucial Web Site. My PC had been running slow for ages if I had known it was this simple I would of done this RAM upgrade much sooner.

I bought this thinking it was a proper wrist strap, I was surprised to find that it was a length of paper with a copper braid down the middle.
You wrap one sticky end around your wrist and the other end sticks to the machine.
Not really very comfortable to wear.

For piece of mind I would recommend this product when buying memory. Not only is it easy to use but you feel that you can install memory confidently without fear of blowing the chips. The wrist strap was long enough also to locate the nearest grounding point (radiator pipe) and the tape is sticky enough to (possibly) use a couple more times.
