Because Crucial flash drives are USB-compatible, you don't need a special port on your computer; just plug them into the USB port on any USB-enabled system running at least Microsoft® Windows® Me, Mac® OS 9.1, or Linux kernel 2.2.19. Smaller than a lipstick case, the Gizmo! drive slips easily into a pocket, purse, or briefcase. The Gizmo! drive is compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 ports. A true Plug and Play™ solution, the Gizmo! drive automatically appears as a removable drive when plugged into the USB port of a desktop or notebook. The new Gizmo! overdrive is housed in the same slim drive casing as existing Gizmo! drives, but sports a new black color and security software, as well as write speeds ranging up to 80X.
